Mr. Charming

Mr. Charming was rescued as a stray. When rescued, he was 11 pounds, and the shelter couldn't even see what breed he was. After shaving off 2 (yes 2!) pounds of matted, flea infested fur.... he is now 9.5 lbs.

Mr. Charming got his name because when we rescued him from the shelter, all the shaving had given him irritated skin. The shelter put a shirt on him saying "Mr. Charming".

Despite the obvious neglect and non-socialization, Mr. Charming is thriving in his foster home. He has bonded with his foster mom. He is wonderful with all of the animals in the home which include dogs (both big and small), cats and a tortoise.

We had Mr. Charming checked out by a vet and he got raving reviews. He can see and hear, and his bloodwork is normal for a senior dog. 

Mr. Charming is looking for a quiet home who understands that he has been through a lot in his 14 years. A home which will give him love, affection, championship and his basic needs.

Because Mr. Charming is still adjusting to rescue life, he is not ready for adoption just yet.
