Pepper
BECAUSE WE ARE A SMALL RESCUE THAT DOES HOME CHECKS, WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.
In November I came across a very pregnant Boston Terrier mix laying on the concrete in the general population of a high kill shelter. I knew that was the worst place she could give birth. On November 21st, less than a week in foster, she gave birth to seven puppies (4 female/3 male).
Pepper is such a shy, sweet puppy. He is the only black and white one in the litter. Pepper is sensitive and sometimes when the other puppies go outside to play, Pepper will sweetly stay behind for belly rubs and kisses. He keeps up with the other puppies at playtime, but definitely is more sensitive and shy.
Pepper's mom and all of the other puppies have been adopted. Despite Pepper getting lots of attention, he is still in rescue.
His foster mom is teaching him to walk on a leash. Since Pepper is so shy, he often pancakes and only craws forward for doggie treats.
Since Pepper was born in rescue, this isn't from abuse, he is just super submissive. Pepper absolutely loves to cuddle up with his foster mom and the other dogs in the home: big, small, old and young. He's just a really perfect puppy!
Pepper is up to date on his puppy shots, microchipped and neutered.
The adoption donation is $350.
