Dog of the Week
Mr. Charming was found as a stray and brought to the shelter. This 14-year-old boy needed to have 2 pounds of matted fur and fleas shaved off of him. It was obvious he had been on the streets for a very very long time. Mr. Charming can see, but his vision is cloudy. He is very timid with new people. This sweet senior is adjusting to foster care. Because of his deep-rooted fear, we are evaluating when he will be available for adoption.

Southpaw Rescue is thrilled to partner once again with Voluptuary and Lucid Winery in Northern California for a virtual wine tasting experience with Lucid Winery owner, winemaker, and sommelier Kevin Luther. This unique event allows you to enjoy a wine tasting from the comfort of your home or gather with friends and taste wines directly with the winery's owner.
Additionally, we're adding a Southpaw Rescue/wine-themed bingo party led by Kevin to the mix. This special occasion also marks the 50th birthday of Southpaw Rescue's founder, Veronica. For Veronica, the best way to celebrate her milestone is by bringing together fellow animal advocates to raise funds by raising a glass to help animals.

Southpaw Rescue receives several emails per week asking us to help rehome pets. Unfortunately, this is not our mission. We rescue dogs from shelters and off the streets.
Southpaw wants to encourage you to seek other options before turning your pet into our overcrowded high kill San Bernardino Shelters.
