Free Vaccination Clinic

Southpaw Rescue partnered with Petco Love Foundation to vaccinate 74 dogs and cats in the community.

San Bernardino is currently experiencing a distemper outbreak. Canine Distemper is highly contagious and there is no cure.

We are also seeing a rise in parvovirus, which is one of the most serious viruses a dog can get. It is highly contagious and if not treated at the first signs, can be very deadly.

On hand to administer the vaccines, examine the dogs and cats, and answer any questions, were Veterinarian Dr. McCarthy, and Registered Techs Vanessa Savage and Stefanie Eilders.
