Skyler
Skyler is a young, playful pup with sweet, happy-go-lucky energy. Clever and a little mischievous, Skyler brings joy to everyone he meets. He is also good with chilling on the coach to watch a movie.
We think Skyler is a Boxer/Husky mix but aren't sure. We took a DNA test and are awaiting the results. He currently weighs 55lbs which is a good weight for him. He has more of a boxer body with short fur. His fur is not wire though, it is extremely soft. He hardly sheds. His coloring and his eyes are more husky. He has eyes you melt into when he looks directly at you, especially when he follows it with a gentle kiss.
At just over a year old, Skyler is eager to please and easy to redirect. He walks pretty well on a leash, but will benefit from some training. He tends to pull on the leash with excitement when he sees a squirl or another dog.
True to his husky roots, he can be an escape artist, so will need a diligent owner who can help train this out of him or keep him safe and secure.
Skyler loves to play with other dogs and has a gentle playstyle. He usually takes the submissive role. He would do well in a home with a playmate of either other dogs or children. Skyler gets hiccups a lot. It’s kinda cute. He gets them when he is excited and when he sees his foster first thing in the morning.
This joyful boy is ready to bring laughter and love to his forever family. Skyler is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and available for adoption with a donation of $250.
