                                                    Cora

Cora is a two-year-old small (about 40lbs) Shepherd/herding mix. She is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. She is polite when meeting new people and will quickly roll over for belly rubs. Children are drawn to her gentle spirit and welcoming smile. Her sense of smell and instincts are some of the best we have ever seen. Her foster says she can smell and hear a mosquito a mile away. She will calmly alert her people if any person or animal is approaching.

Cora loves to go on her daily walks. You can take her anywhere with you. She is nonreactive in new situations and isn’t bothered by crowds or loud noises. When large crowds get too overwhelming for her, she gets close to her foster and looks to them for direction. If you want a quiet night at home, Cora loves that too. She thrives at being a home body.

Cora plays well with other dogs and takes the submissive role during playtime. Even though she is very strong, she often goes to the ground and rolls over onto her back. She gets along with cats too. She is being fostered with in a home with small children and another dog and is doing really well. She does prefer to eat on her own and not have the other dog take her food.

Cora is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. She is also potty trained. Her adoption donation is $200.
