Mountain CAP is about connection, protection, and showing up for the animals who need it most. For years, animals have been being dumped in our Mountain Communities. We take them in, we get them vetted, we help them overcome the trauma of being left behind in a national forest and we find them homes. But now it's time to let those dumping them know that we see them and we have had enough.

Adoptable dogs
Southpaw Rescue receives several emails per week asking us to help rehome pets. Unfortunately, this is not our mission. We rescue dogs from shelters and off the streets.
Southpaw wants to encourage you to seek other options before turning your pet into our overcrowded high kill San Bernardino Shelters.
