Sargent
Sargent is a nine-year-old Jack Russell Terrier with a huge personality and a heart of gold. He is a social butterfly who loves being around people and making new friends wherever he goes. Smart, confident, and full of character, Sargent truly checks all the boxes. One of his favorite things - cats! He absolutely adores them and is happiest when he has feline friends to spend time with.
Sargent is thriving in foster care with structure and routine. He loves his daily walks, his neighborhood “check-ins” for treats and attention, and then settling in for long naps near his humans and furry foster siblings. He is social and enjoys being part of the action, but he would do best in a quieter home where he can feel safe and relaxed. Loud or chaotic environments can make him a little nervous, but with consistency and companionship, Sargent absolutely blossoms.
He is wonderful on a leash and would make an excellent companion for someone looking for a dog who enjoys both getting out and about and relaxing at home afterward. And like any distinguished little gentleman, Sargent has his quirks — most notably, he absolutely loathes sneezing. If someone sneezes nearby, he will immediately seek shelter and look personally offended by the whole situation.
Sargent is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. He recently received a full wellness exam with our veterinarian, and everything looks great.
