Patches was discovered as a stray in the Coachella Valley. A Good Samaritan took her in and called Southpaw Rescue. It was obvious when we got her that she had been in some sort of altercation with one or more dogs. She suffered from abscessed bit wounds all over her body. There has been some sort of trauma to her her face, causing her to be blind in one eye and most likely impaired in the other. She also has a slight head tilt, which seems to be correcting itself.

We treated Patches wounds and pyometra, which thankfully was discovered early. She has been spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. Patches is currently being fostered in a home with other dogs. She can be adopted into a home with mellow dogs and also would be okay as a single dog. She has learned to get around with her impaired eye sight, but is still marked special needs because of this.

Patches adoption fee is $200.
